Travel Equipment

Disclaimer: This page contains affiliate links which means I get a small commission on each purchase you make at not extra cost to you! Thank you for keeping my blog running.

This travel equipment page is a work in progress! I will continually update it with equipment that I have tried and liked, so be sure to keep coming back to it and check for updates!

Travelling can require many different bits of equipment, each one is dependent on what type of travelling you are doing. I’ve divided this page up into: what all travellers need and the different types of trips you may be going on. Click on the links below to go to certain places.

What does everyone need?

What travel equipment does everyone need?

Everyone needs a place to stay! As mentioned in my blog post, Travel Apps Everyone Needs, I highly recommend Booking.com.

What do backpackers need?

A backpack!

There are two types a backpacks you may need, a big one and a small one! The big one is best for things such as tents, toiletries and clothing; whereas, the smaller one is best fro day-to-day use.

Emergency Gear

When backpacking, things are bound to break, or you may end up in a bit of a sticky situation, so the things listed below are all things I take with me wherever I go.

Sleeping Gear

Whether you’re staying in a hostel or camping, I really recommending bringing these pieces of equipment. They can also be useful for long journeys like overnight busses or flights.
