Everyone should have a travel bucket list! They give you something to plan and do and it feels amazing once you tick it off.
So to give you some inspiration on what to put on your travel bucket list, I have listed mine down below. I have tried not to make it too much about animals, but I have chucked a few in there!
Before I start though, I want to say that these are in no particular order! So my travel bucket list starts here:
1 – Skydiving
Skydiving was my parents second date – how adventurous! I’m not exactly afraid of heights but this is a lot higher then what I am used to, so I need to mentally prepare myself, and also save up as it can be quite pricey.
This is also a great opportunity to fundraise for future travels or for a charity! Please read my post here on a charity which really needs your help!
Skydiving in the UK is possible here!

2 – Swim with dolphins/sharks/sea lions
Due to the nature of my travels, I really need to be careful to avoid animal exploitation. This can be done in the animals natural habitat, inside of a cage for protection purposes as I believe this is the most humane of doing it!
The photos below are my own from visiting Plymouth Marine Aquarium, which I highly recommend visiting!
3 – Walk on the Great Wall of China
This is a sight that I think should be on everyone’s bucket list! You can get a lot of information about it here.
It would be incredible if I could get my own photos and walk a section of it, as well as learn the history of it as I do so.

4 – Visit Harry Potter studios
Okay, so I have already been here before (whoopsie!) but I loved it so much that I want to go back. When I did go, it was for my 18th birthday and I caught a stomach bug so I wasn’t feeling very well!
On my next time round, I am definitely bringing more money for the shop at the end because I want everything they sell.
The tour that I went on was in London (you can view their website here) but I would also love to visit Harry Potter World!
5 – Put ‘Love Lock’ on bridge in Paris
I’m not usually a romantic and I feel like this would make a break-up even worse, and so this is something I would do with my closest friends!
Unfortunately, the practice is now banned (you can read why here) and so, I need to find a creative way of doing it!

6 – Zipline through jungle
Can you imagine anything more beautiful?! Flying through a jungle, possibly seeing some animals and feeling the wind on your face; I can’t imagine anything more freeing.
I would chose to do this in Costa Rica (you can check it out here) simply because it is so beautiful and a dream destination. I definitely need a GoPro for when I do though!

7 – Jungle Swing
Once more, such a freeing and beautiful experience. Although, the fact that the girl below is not wearing a harness sets my anxiety off, it is something I am dying to do.
My choice of location would be Indonesia or Bali, you can check a company that does this here!

8 – See a tiger in the wild
I have seen a tiger in real life before, but unfortunately it was behind bars and I am really against that.
Tiger’s are my 3-year old brothers favourite animal! I can’t imagine anything more exciting than taking him to the beautiful jungle (when he’s older of course) and seeing one of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

9 – Go scuba diving
Imagine swimming along the beautiful coral reefs, seeing hundreds of species of fish and maybe some turtles! I think this is the ultimate experience, one that can be done off the coast of Chile.
I would need to purchase an underwater camera though! Or get a waterproof case for the GoPro I will use for my zip lining!

10 – Go rock climbing
I have done a little bit of climbing in a climbing centre, but I don’t think anything could compare to the fresh air and the thrill of climbing on rocks.
When I was about 11 years old (I may be completely off with my age there but it was a long time ago!) I did some rock climbing in the same place as my brother in the picture below and I was terrified! But I could go up easily, it was coming down that was the problem.

These are the first 10 things on my travel bucket list! There are a couple more lists coming so be sure to keep an eye out for them! I’ll be posting them at the same time next week (and the week after for the 3rd list). Check out part 2 here, and part 3 here!
What is on your bucket list? Have you got anything to recommend to me that I should put on mine? Let me know in the comment section down below!
Oh my, there is not a single similarity between our lists! You are such an adventurer,n
Really nice post. Loved your bucket list
You’re a very adventurous type of person! I once did the jungle skywheel thing in the Philippines and I was scared to my bones hahaha!
This is such a great bucket list! I’m starting my own too.
Skydiving as a second date!? Blooming ‘eck your parents are impressive! You must have grown up adventurous with role models like that!
You know, when you visit the great wall of China, see if you can go for a hike on one of the falling down sections, as well as one of the famous areas that have been re-built. I actually loved the more shabby parts best, and the mountain views can be spectacular!
What an amazing bucketlist! I have done quite some of them mentioned by you. On my bucketlist is seeing the Northern lights from Iceland. I am saving up for it 🙂
Great collection of Bucket List items here. A few of them are a bit too adrenalin-inducing for me haha. Although, visiting the Harry Potter studios is right up there for me, plus walking the Great Wall of China.
Great bucket list, I hope you’ll get to tick off these items soon then! I’m not much of a daredevil myself but I would like to visit the Great Wall in China too AND the Harry Potter Studios! I give Harry Potter tours in London (in Dutch) and am a big HP fan, but haven’t been to the studios yet! I hear from everybody it’s really great so I should add it to my bucket list 🙂
This is a really great collection! There are so many places that I want to see, I should put mine into a list.
Great list of travel bucket list items! You know us, we love bucket lists so I was very excited to see what you added to your list! In particular, I love the swimming with different animals or hiking the great wall of China. Both sound like epic adventures. You can keep the skydiving, that is actually on my anti-bucket list though I do have hang gliding off the Torrey Pines Glider Port in San Diego, so who knows, I may jump from a plane one day too!
The Great Wall of China is at the top of my bucket list too! I also loved Harry Potter Studios Tour, I’ve been using isolation to focus on blogging and re-reading all of the HP books!
All of these sounds amazing! I see three of my bucket list on this list! I’ve always wanted to do skydive but sadly it’s limited here in our country. The Harry Potter studios is also on my list as I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan. 😁
Thanks for sharing your travel wish list! While we’re all stuck at home, I’m also doing a lot of planning and dreaming about where to explore next! The Great Wall is absolutely incredible. Make sure to do some research as there are a few different options depending on how much time you have. I went to Mutianyu, and it was easy to get to and restored. (Yet, less busy than Badaling.) But, there are less visited areas that are sooo beautiful.
some of these Ive already tried. moments with tiger, ziplining above a very high waterfall, HP studios.. What i love to do is go scuba diving, sky diving, hug a penguin? hahaha. we almost share the same list…
I have worked with penguins before, and was able to hold one as he was struggling to reach but it’s really difficult to find ways of doing this without compromising their welfare
The hike on the Great Wall is def a travel highlight for me – hope you’re able to make it one day!
I’ve actually done most of these things :o)
If you like swings, I would recommend Casa del Arbol in Baños, Ecudaor. It’s much cheaper than the Bali ones :oP
Thank you! I’m actually planning a trip to Central and South America for next year so I’ll incorporate this into my plans!
What a wonderful list! I’ve got just under 5 years till my 40th birthday and have skydiving, swimming with dolphins and taking on Europe’s longest zip line on my bucket list too!
Louise x
I wish you the best of luck with completing that!
No skydiving for me! I’m not really afraid of heights but that’s not for me. But for some strange reason it sounds bwtter than bungee jumping! 😜
With bungee jumping, you have to come back up! I completely understand what you mean though
This is a great bucket list! I’m not sure I could do the jungle swing but the rest of them look amazing.
Wow, this is quite a list! I would love to do most of these! However, I could never swim with dolphins or sharks! Oh man! I’m terrified of everything ocean, so that means the scuba diving is off my list too!
I would love to see a tiger (dream come true!). I say that I would love to sky dive, but I’m not sure what would actually happen if I had the chance!
I love this list!
Great ideas, some which I have already done but others which would be a new experience! Thanks for sharing
I love everything in your list! Thanks for sharing!
xoxo
Lovely
I love everything on your list! You are so adventurous! I wish I am a daredevil like you. Skydiving is something that I am still unsure of as of this time. Though I have friends who have already done it. Some of their photos had funny faces. But that’s not the reason why I’m unsure of doing it. Haha! I am afraid of heights. You have really amazing shots underwater. I’d love to do underwater photography someday, if I’d ever learn to swim.
I am a huge huge huge harry potter fan so that is definetly one near the top of my list and i also would love to swim with dolphins. I love this list!
Harry Potter studios in London is incredible and I highly recommend you try visiting! Thank you very much!
These are all great ideas! A zipline through the jungle is on my bucket list too. I would also recommend adding a helicopter ride to the list – we have done it in NYC, Iceland, and Kauai and all were absolutely life-changing.
I was contemplating a helicopter ride but they price is extortionate! What companies did you go with?
Oooh a helicopter ride is a great shout for a possible bucket list item!
Hello.
These for example:
Reindeer race 3
The race is unique in the whole world and thus being once in the live time experience! It is free for everyone. I participated in it last winter and the feeling was greater than driving fast on German “Autobahnen”.
We offer of course normal reindeer rides:
Reindeer rides and Santa
Best Snow Castle photos
This is world’s biggest snow castle.
Happy and safe travels!
