Charities

This page is dedicated to the charities that either I have worked with, or that I believe need some extra support so please have a look at what they do and feel free to send donations in! If there’s a particular charity you want on here then let me know and I will make it happen.

Lawrence Anthony Earth Organisation

This is an organisation set up by Lawrence Anthony, and incredibly wildlife conservationist who ran the Thula Thula game reserve and played a major part in the restoration of Baghdad Zoo during the Iraq war.

This organisation sets to achieve cooperative ecology, which is encouraging people to be aware of how their everyday life can be changed to have a positive impact on the world, and also assists people in starting up projects which benefits nature in any forms.

Wild Futures

Visited a new charity the other week called Wild Futures, in Looe, UK. Did you know it is legal to keep a pet monkey in the UK but it has to be kept in a cage for its whole life? There’s approximately 3,000 pet monkeys in the UK at the moment, and they’ll all suffering. I am planning to write a piece on it for a new post. I have also adopted my own little monkey, as every little bit counts!@wildfuturescharity – be sure to check it out! #wildfuture #monkeysanctury #banpetmonkeys #animalwelfare #stopanimalabuse #stopanimalcruelty #travel #travelblogger #blogger #oceanview #clifftop #charity #adoptamonkey

Wildlife Act

During my time with @wildlife_act I have seen some incredible animals. One of which is the African Wild Dog who are classified as engendered due to the small numbers of 6,000 in total. They are the most endangered due to habitat fragmentation, human conflict and disease. Please donate to the Wildlife Act to help save these incredible cats #wildlifeact #conservation #donate #wilddog #africanwilddog #savetheanimals #travelblog #fundraising

Scooby, Medina Del Campo

@scooby_france is the company I went with in 2018. Their website states: For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the nineties we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, our premises currently homing more than one thousand dogs and cats, and two hundred farm animals who live in our sanctuary. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations of our members and the invaluable international help we receive. Please consider making a donation so we can continue saving lives and providing these animals with the future they deserve. #scoobymedina #scoobymedinadelcampo #dogrescue #rescuecentre #volunteer #volunteerabroad #helponeatatime #airborneforanimals
