Since Black Friday is this weekend, I thought now would be the perfect time to show you all of these travel must have items that you can buy off Amazon. This is a collection of gadgets and gismos that are so helpful when you’re on a trip, and they’re all small so perfect for fitting in your bag!
Hopefully this list covers everything but comment down below if I’ve missed something.
Be sure to check out my other travel posts, like travel apps everyone needs (I also have this as a YouTube video!) and first time flying tips.

My favourite item – portable charger
There’s a lot of products here so we’re just going to dive right in with my most used item – the portable charger.
I’m always afraid my phone will die, and with it all of the information I need and my entertainment. So a portable charger is a must! I use this Anker one at the moment, and it has about 200% of battery.
There are hundreds of portable chargers out there, it can be impossible to decide which one to get. I like this one because it’s fairly small, will get me through 2 days of travel and is durable.

Travel Must Haves While On the Move …
I put a suitcase belt on when I’m flying so it’s easy to spot when coming along the conveyor belt. You can get them in varying colours on Amazon, or you can get multiple and have a bit of a pattern so it’s very easy to spot.
Another one of my favourite items is a passport wallet which allows for easy access for your ID cards and passport. When there’s a queue behind you and you can’t find your passport in the depths of your bag is a nightmare come true, so at least with this handy wallet, you can attach it to your bag and easily find it.
Speaking of bags, I’ve recently began to travel with a tote bag because it allows for easy access. Inside of my tote bag, I use an organiser which has been a life saver for me. If you’ve used a tote bag before, you know that it just becomes this black hole of random stuff. Well not anymore! With this organiser, you’ve got lots of sturdiness and pockets so things can easily be found.

Also on the topic of bags, a luggage strap (like this one) is a new addition to my travel essentials and it’s wonderful. You can attach your hand luggage bag to your suitcase and not worry about it falling. If you also travel with a carry on suitcase, then it fits there as well.
Long haul flights can be uncomfortable, so a neck pillow is very handy. I love this one because it’s supportive and has the privacy of a hood. For some reason, I’m very self conscious when I try to sleep in public so it’s perfect.
A collapsible coffee cup and water bottle are a must! Especially if you want to be a sustainable traveller (that’s cool now, right?). This Stojo cup is perfect for hot drinks, and I love Chilly’s bottle collection because they’re light and come in awesome colours and patters (I have a seahorse on mine!).

Toiletries
Toothpaste tablets are a great way of saving space and weight. I tend to travel for weeks or months as a time, so I do need a lot of toothpaste. This is a pack of 120, which gives you 2 months of toothpaste. All you have to do is chew it, put some water on your toothbrush and brush!
I got excited when I found this 3 in 1 razor because carrying a tube of shaving cream is heavy and dry shaving is just painful. It has a spray you fill with water, a soap bar and 2 razors. All of the items can be removed and refilled.

While transporting toiletries, leak locks are a lifesaver. They stretch to fit loads of different bottle sizes, and after, they return back to their usual size. They can’t be used on pump tops, but I recommend them for everything else.
This is more of a safety feature than a toiletry, but zip scrunchies are perfect for storing things in. If you’re in a busy place, or just want something to be easily accessible, then this is what you need.
Packing cubes are necessary for staying organised and they can actually hold quite a lot! These cubes are a beautiful colour and the varying size is very helpful.

Gadget essentials
Especially if you’re on the move, a phone stand is perfect for travel because, with this one, you can clip it onto anything in front of you. When you’re on a plane, just attach it to the tray so you don’t have to hold your phone for hours. If you can’t clip it onto anything, then the clip itself acts as a stand.
I’m a major over-packer when it comes to travelling; it’s my biggest issue. I always worry that I’m over the weight limit for my luggage and will be fined for all my life is worth. That’s why I use a digital scale, like this one. It tells me the weight of my luggage in either pounds or kilograms and it can take up to 50kg.

Another safety item which you should have is a keychain alarm. This one has a torch on it, and the alarm is activated when this is pulled out. I’m always worried about having an alarm with a button because it would 100% go off while in my bag so this is perfect. I will be doing a video about safety while travelling, so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested.
I have trouble when eating abroad because I’m a vegetarian and milk intolerant and it can be hard to explain. A translator device really helps me with that. This one has 138 languages, and all you do is speak into it, press the button and it speaks the translation for you.
If you’re anything like me then you probably travel with a lot of electronics and need a way of organising them. This organiser bag is the solution. It helps to keep your electronics safe and in one place, and also easy to get to. You can also keep your wires together with these cord organisers, which come in a pack of 20 with varying colours.

Extras
Every country has a different plug port and it can be so confusing. This world travel adaptor is very handy for that! With a flick of a button, you can switch from European to UK!
And the last thing I have to mention is a door lock. For a bit of extra security, you can attach this to your door and feel comfortable knowing you’re safe.
And that is the whole list of Amazon travel must haves!
If you have anything to include, then leave a comment below. Happy black Friday!
